Human food store type
CLEM.Resources.HumanFoodStoreType
An individual food type for human consumption.

Similar to the Animal food store type each Human food store type contains parameters describing the quality and nutrition of a type of food.

The following parameters are associated with this resource

The units define the nominal units used to track this food. This allows you to work with whatever unit best describes this food such as litres for liquids (e.g. milk), each for items like eggs and kilograms for dry goods (e.g. cereals)

Many activities working with multiple Human food store types will need a normalised measure of weight whether for handling or tracking total consumption. For this reason all food must be converted into the standard kilograms. This parameter converts one unit of this resource into kilograms.

Processing of a food type from the raw product to the edible version often results in wastage. This parameter defines the proportion of the raw product stored in this store that is edible and tracked through feeding activities.

Many food types will spoil with age or have a set shelf life. This parameter defines the period of time (in months) that this food type can be stored before it is no longer fit for human consumption.
Set this value to 0 (zero) to infer no limit to storage.

The amount of this product (raw) stored at the start of the simulation.

The age (in months) of the this product stored at the start of the simulation.

The following components will provide more details for this resource type

Resource pricing components can be added to this resource type to provide pricing and purchase unit details.

A Resource units converter component can be added to this Resource Type to provide additional units for reporting.
